What is Techno Pirata?
Techno Pirata is a curated production library for electronic music producers, with samples, music tracks and Ableton projects organized by sound, genre, BPM, key and collection.
Are Techno Pirata sounds royalty-free?
Yes. Eligible sounds downloaded legally can be used royalty-free in your original music, including commercial releases, under the Techno Pirata License and Terms of Use.
Can I use the sounds commercially?
Yes, in commercial and non-commercial original productions. You may not resell, share or redistribute the original files as standalone samples or another sample library.
Is my DAW supported?
The files work with any modern DAW that supports standard audio formats, including Ableton Live, FL Studio, Logic Pro, Bitwig, Cubase, Studio One, Pro Tools, Reason and Reaper.
Can I explore the library without creating an account?
Yes. You can search, filter and listen to protected previews without an account. A free account is required for downloads, favorites and download history.
What is included with a Free account?
No payment method is required. You receive five daily downloads, full search, protected previews, favorites, download history and referral credits.
Do I need to download an entire pack?
No. Every eligible loop, one-shot and sample can be downloaded separately. Complete projects and special collections can also be offered as separate downloads.
Can I download several samples at once?
Yes. Select multiple eligible samples and use Download Selected. Techno Pirata verifies your account and allowance before creating the download.
How do downloads work?
Each sample counts as one download unless stated otherwise. Free accounts receive five daily downloads. Paid access expands eligible downloads, and acquired files remain yours.
Is Techno Pirata a recurring subscription?
No. Current paid plans are one-time access periods without automatic renewal. When access ends, the account returns to Free.
What happens to files I already downloaded when paid access ends?
You keep every file legally downloaded and may continue using it in original productions under the applicable license.
What is the difference between a loop and a one-shot?
A loop is an audio phrase made to repeat. A one-shot is a single sound such as a kick, snare, percussion hit, stab, bass hit or effect.
Can I preview samples before downloading them?
Yes. Protected browser previews may use a lighter format for fast playback, while authorized downloads deliver the original high-quality file.
What are Producer Projects?
Producer Projects are downloadable Ableton production archives for hands-on study, including session files, audio, arrangements, processing chains and other resources when specified.
Do project files include every third-party plugin?
Not necessarily. Each project states its Ableton version and resources. Techno Pirata does not redistribute commercial software or third-party plugin licenses.
Can I resell or share downloaded files?
No. Files must be used in your own original creative work. Resale, account sharing, re-uploading and redistribution are prohibited.
Are the same samples available to other users?
Yes. Unless explicitly sold as exclusive, library sounds are non-exclusive and may be legally downloaded by other users.
Why can I preview a sound but not download it?
Previews let visitors evaluate the library. Original files require an authenticated account to validate the license, plan and download allowance.
What format will I receive?
The explorer displays each original download format, including WAV audio, Ableton projects or other identified resources. A browser preview never replaces the original download.
